From the Archive: NUEN’s Early Concept Work on Arkheron

Official Key art of Arkheron

We are thrilled to see the fantastic reception for Arkheron, the intense team-PvP looter by Bonfire Studios, following its recent gameplay reveal and playtest weekends!

Our journey with Arkheron goes back to 2019 during the game’s early pre-production stage. Working under the brilliant direction of Art Director Jaime Jasso, NUEN’s Gia Nguyen stepped in as a concept artist to help shape the environment's visual DNA—crafting a unique aesthetic that blends soaring Gothic architecture with atmospheric dark fantasy. Below are some official screenshots and environment art from other amazing artists made for the game

Working on Arkheron in 2019 alongside Jaime Jasso was an incredible experience. The team at Bonfire Studios had a powerful, unique vision for a darker, more mature fantasy world. Our goal during that early stage was to build environment concepts that felt deeply narrative and unpredictable, while providing the clean spatial layout required for competitive combat.

A huge thank you to Jaime Jasso and Bonfire Studios for having us at the very beginning of this incredible project. Wishlisted Arkheron on Steam yet?
